The Project

The former Cartier Theatre – renamed The Colas Theatre – is located at 3990 Notre-Dame Street West, Montreal. We want to transform it into a place that reconnects with history, while bringing the building back to life. Due to the lack of independent venues in Montreal, this Theatre will be the only one of its kind in Montreal’s South-West district.

The size of the location will allow us to set up several performance, exhibition and creation spaces / rooms that can accommodate up to 1,200 people at a time. Théâtre Colas aims to become a creative hub welcoming all art forms, including film, music, visual arts, comedy, dance and theater.

This project is powered by the Fabienne Colas Foundation.
